10th Anniversary of 4ArTs

... and we want to celebrate that!

This years Title:

„Sharing Arts; Sharing Connections; Sharing Time

-  A.C.T. ing Together!“

The title points out the three fundamental words „Arts“, „ Connection“ and „Time“, which build the foundation for 4ArTs in general and will be especially important for this years anniversary. The growth and development of 4ArTs has been a great achievement over the last ten years and we would love to embrace this topic and include it into our program.

We are going to look back at the past 10 years to see how 4ArTs not only grew on members, but also on its fields of scientific expertise and cultural influence.

One way to learn scientific expertise is to experience oneself in a leading or participating role in one of our workshops. As 4ArTs will have its 10th Birthday this year, we are inspired to deal with topics like memory, sustainability and progress in an artistic and scientific way.

Those topics are not only important on social levels, but also in the fields of arts therapies. The development, the expansion, and the reputation of arts therapies are in constant movement and aim sustainability.

Memory – refers to practical experiences, which are brought together from different parts of the world. They expand during 4ArTs and build new actual connections.

Sustainability – covers the area of constant repetition and aims the enlargement of theoretical and practical knowledge. After every conference an evaluation takes places to ensure and develop quality, structure and organisation of 4ArTs. It’s important for us to help creating fortification and encouragement of arts therapies on an European level.

Progress – characterises the international connections, initiating impulses and the establishment and reputation to be gained on an European level. One example is a project in Barcelona, which was founded right after 4ArTs 2012 in Portugal. Smaller impulses give suggestions for practical, theoretical and artistic work.
